Two For Two Wheel Tuesday

First off, very excited to hear that Brett McCormick is going to be racing in the US (I would have preferred to see him in BSB but rides were sparse there this year) and he’ll once again be riding for Pascal Picotte on Suzuki’s.  We will get to see him at Daytona, where he’ll race the 200 and Superbikes.  Check out his new lid for Daytona! The work was done by Andre Roy of

Really well done lid!!  Good luck to Brett!!

Now some of you may have seen this on other sites, if not, this is mega cool.  Here is the valve train of the new BMW S1000RR spinning at 14,000 RPMS!!

Two Wheel Tuesday, YZR500 Replica

I know, it’s a real bombshell that I would post something two stroke related for Two Wheel Tuesday, but, come on, it’s a YZR500 replica!!!  I know they show this as an Abe replica, and that paint scheme is one of my favorites, but there is nothing preventing you from doing this a bit different.

Anyway, MCN was down in Sydney and spent some time at Mico Products going over this bike.  Enjoy!

British Road Racer Guy Martin

If you follow the Irish Road Racing scene, you know, the men of testicular fortitude, who race on the roads rather than closed circuit courses, then you know the name Guy Martin.  Thanks to Jim Race for finding this.  Jim says expect an interview with Guy on an upcoming MotoGPod

Jorge Lorenzo On A Scooter

Thanks to TwoWheelBlog for finding and posting this originally.  My Spanish isn’t what it once was, but for parts of it, there is ZERO language barrier.  Breakdowns, Cops, and vintage two stroke smoke as Jorge pilots El Follonero, from Salvados Spanish TV to the train station in Barcelona.

Two Wheel Tuesday, V4 Heaven

For motorcyclists there is something very magical about the exhaust note of a V4.  Well, thanks to Micah Shoemaker at AF1 Aprilia you can watch and listen to three great V4’s on the dyno.

First up is the glorious Ducati Desmosedici

Next up the new Aprilia RSV4

Finally we look at one of the great light weight sport bikes of all time the Honda NC30

King Kenny Rides The TZ750 Again

For this years MotoGP weekend at Indy, I truely think that more people came to see and were more excited about seeing Kenny Roberts ride the bike that “They don’t pay me enough money to ride”.  This is a nice bit put together by Dunlop, though I wish they would have had more video of Kenny at speed in the corners on the beast.

Two Wheel Tuesday, Canadian Superbikes

I was up in Canada over the Labor Day weekend to announce for the final round of 2009 of the Parts Canada Superbike Series.  It was a great weekend of racing, all the championships came down to the final round, a several were decided by less than 5 points!

Have a look at some of the pictures I shot throughout the weekend.
