Reviewed: 2013 Scion FR-S

In May of last year we went out to Las Vegas for a first drive of the Scion FR-S. Now that we’ve had a week with it, do we feel the same way about it. Is it the “old school” sports car so many of us have been pining for, or is it just, well, meh! Find out as we dive in and take a longer look at the Scion FR-S.

As a side note, we were filming some driving scenes before we shot the in car and stand up.  We had the camera mount fail on us, so our Sony POV cam broke and the mount had some issues as well, as you will notice in the video.  We are sorry for that, and we have since replaced the equipment.

Reviewed: 2013 Ford Mustang GT

Not as often as we’d like we get to test and spend time with cars we’d buy with our own money, this happens to be one of those times. We got to spend a week with the 2013 Mustang GT and the contrast in how far this car has come from the 95 Mustang GT that we own is remarkable.

How good is this GT? Good enough we might just buy one with our own cash!

Reviewed: 2013 Ford Flex

Back in 2009 the Ford Flex was the first car we reviewed when we rebooted the blog, now three and a half years later, Ford has refreshed the Flex and we want to see how far it has come. When we reviewed back in ’09 we were blown away by how good it was, does it still remain that way? And, can we explain why such a great Crossover hasn’t had mainstream acceptance. Watch the video to find out.

Chevrolet Unveils The 2014 C7 Corvette

General Motors pulled the wraps off the all new C7 Corvette Sunday night, just before the opening of the 2013 North American International Auto Show.

It was a huge event, and the car was very well received, we will have to wait till late summer or early fall to drive it though.

My thanks to Ed Welburn, Mike Spinelli and Leo Parente for taking the time give us their thoughts on the C7.

First Look: 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

We had the opportunity to do a local media drive in the all new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, this is the five passenger version of Hyundai’s compact to midsized crossover.  There will be a seven passenger version coming out later in 2013 that will just be called the Santa Fe.

We put about 100 miles on the Hyundai on our local drive, and we like what we saw, we hope to have the chance to spend more time with it later in the year.
